Melissa Say is a Geologist with 15 years of experience in both the private and government sectors. Melissa completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) (Hons) from RMIT University in Melbourne in 2001. She has worked in commodities including gold, copper and base metals in Western Australia, South Australia and Jamaica. She started her career working as a Geologist for a junior exploration company in Western Australia, then joined Oxiana in 2006 where she worked at the Prominent Hill Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold deposit initially doing resource definition drill-outs and later near-mine and regional exploration. Oxiana then became OZ Minerals and in 2010 Melissa started working part-time based in the Melbourne office working on various exploration projects including Carrapateena and Jamaica. In 2015 she joined the Geological Survey of Victoria as a Data Geologist working on historical data compilations, extractives and tenement report auditing. Before joining AMETS, Melissa had several years of experience managing internal company tenements and statutory technical reports, and more recently audited technical reports as part of her role at the Survey.
Melissa is currently responsible for managing the Victorian titles.
