Senior Tenement Manager
Jennifer Johnson started her career in the Resources Sector in 2001 working for a Geological Consulting company in South Africa. During her career she has worked as a consultant to mining and exploration companies and as an in-house tenement and environmental specialist. As an archaeologist, Jenny is passionate about ensuring that Mining and Exploration Companies are comfortable working with Native Title Groups to ensure the best outcome for all parties. In addition to her work with Native Title Groups, Jenny is actively involved with the Co-Design process for the implementation of the new Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act which will be rolled out early next year.
Jenny is aware of the value of tenure and the importance of strict compliance in WA and will ensure that you are not left in any doubt about compliance with the regulators. With over 20 years experience in the minerals industry Jenny is well placed to offer strategic advice on all your tenement and compliance needs.

I don’t drink coffee, but I drink loads of tea, Yorkshire Gold is my go to brand!
What is it that you do at AMETS?
As a Senior Tenement Manager, I am responsible for managing the WA tenement portfolio for our clients and for raising brand awareness in WA.
What do you love about your position?
The opportunity to grow AMETS in WA and to engage with people on various levels from geologists to CEO’s.
How do you spend your time when you are not at AMETS?
I love reading and if my nose isn’t stuck in a book then I am usually out and about looking for new restaurants to try. Japanese is my current go to at the moment.
What are you most grateful for?
I am grateful that my family and I live in this beautiful country and that I have been lucky enough to call it my home since 2011.
What is your ideal holiday?
I love museums and are galleries so a European holiday would be ideal.
Which three things do you take to a deserted island?
My kindle and kindle charger, my husband (he’s very good with IT stuff in case my kindle breaks) and my Labradoodle Rocky.
