Tim Crockett

Tim Crockett is a Geologist with 15 years of experience in the private sector. Tim completed a Master of Science (Geology) from Monash University in Melbourne in 2006. He has worked in commodities including iron ore, coal, uranium and petroleum. He has also worked in environmental consulting and in compliance and permitting.

Tim started his career as an environmental consultant for Kilpatricks in Melbourne before moving into coal exploration geology in the Bowen Basin, QLD. Following this he did contract work in uranium exploration in the NT for Aldershot Resources before moving to West Africa to work for Rio Tinto on its Simandou iron ore project. After spending 6 years in Africa, Tim moved back to Sydney and took up a compliance and permitting position for Bridgeport Energy where he oversaw the compliance for both exploration and production petroleum leases within QLD and SA. Tim then moved to the Hunter Valley Mine (HVO) where he was the exploration supervisor running the near mine exploration and in-pit production drilling programs.

Tim Joined AMETS in August 2020 where he is tasked with managing the tenement compliance and statutory reporting for several client portfolios within NSW, QLD, VIC and NT.
